The existing Environmental Resource Permit for Taft Recycling's Orlando facility was modified to allow addition of a 6,600 SF building. The permit modification required resizing the existing retention pond. An inlet was added to relieve an existing problem with standing water in one area of the site. HSA Golden staff coordinated pre-application meetings which resulted in favorable conditions being set for Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) requirements. HSA Golden staff also participated in a site inspection by the FDEP. Close coordination with the Client and the agency resulted in a prompt permit approval.
